When I first came here,he was my first bengali friend .And he was the last friend that I met before I leave.Deliberately.
When I went back to my apartment,I saw 2 pigeons on the rooftop across my building.
I observed them while sipping my hot coffee.
Moments later,I went back to my balcony and I saw them again,leaning their head againts each other with eyes closed.I was wondering,among thousands of pigeons that almost look alike,why they choosed that one particular pigeon and stick together?They eat together,they shit together ,they sleep together and they fly together.
I smiled looking at the beauty of monogamy;which is rare in most animal groups but is common among birds.
I learnt that humans are one of the few species that practice monogamy,well to be precise, trying hard for centuries to avoid polygamy, the habit of having more than one mate at a time but many sucks terribly with it.
Sincerity,loyalty and honesty seems like a hard trait nowadays.
I realized,we came across alot of people in our life and we address many of them as friends and eventually get confuse with the term 'friends'.I concluded,the trick is ,many should know you but your circle should be very small.Otherwise,life's peace will get disrupted due to so called friends.
To know them for real,seek them during your hardship and you will realize that not everyone deserves to be called as friend
