Common sense is something that common people don't have.

It happened to be a beautiful day,blue sky with few floaty cumulus clouds and golden sunshine.I sat down and soon an elderly man whom I judged to be in his fifties,flopped down in the seat beside me.I edged myself away from him and when he flung open his newspaper I was grateful that he didn't want to talk.But in the middle of the ride,he suddenly crumpled the newspaper and flung it to the floor."F*ck this useless word!"he snarled loudly.When someone does a thing like that,it's obvious he's seeking attention.
"What's wrong uncle?"I commented.The old man only glared and sullenly stared ahead.
Good,I thought to myself,I did my part.
He turned back to me,"you and others your age are far out of it,there's no enough knowledge in people your age and that's why there's no wisdom in people your age group."
I leaned forward and have a look what's on the paper and I saw the words'North Korea,Raped,Accident etc'.I understand the reason but his general statement sort of irritate me.
"So uncle,If we have so much of knowledge,do you think we would be wise full of wisdom?"I enquired.
"What a bogus question,Yes,"he answered.
"So why science which is full of knowledge drifted and causes misery for mankind?"
He turned and look at me,"You don't know the time of the day.Future going to be hard because you people dont value the time."
I took a deep breath,"Are you any different? " I pursued.
Wisdom isn't based on knowledge.It comes for people who seek it and have a good mindset..
"So what wisdom means for you?"he snapped.
"Common sense,"I replied while he stared with a pathetic look.
"What do you mean?Everybody have common sense!",he justified.
I remembered my friend Nooman's word.Common sense is something that common people don't have.
"I have lots of medical based friends who time to time post pictures with a baby or an animal,"I started to narrate while he quietly listening.
"Such people have a deep thoughts that their act is based on pure humanity."
"It is ,"he interrupted.
I smiled."Test them.Seek their time by pretending you're down.They never spend it for you."
"It's justifiable after all ,"he said and continued,"Time is precious and such people that love another human and animal knows the value and that's why they going to become successful,"he exclaimed.
"Why they could do it in hospital or with their white coat but not to real person in trouble.?"
He remained silent for awhile.
"It's not real humanity uncle.It a good fake feeling.You do the same as a job is for money.If you're that genuine,you see human the same,not just for the sake of picture or place.Such people grow older and causes pain for another being when they get into such a position.We should be imbalance to be balance but many misunderstand it.Selfishness and selflessness should be in balance.."
He was listening.
I know the value of time,should I elaborate it,if you want?"
"Well,go on,I'm curious,"he replied.
If you want to value 1 year,ask it from a student who failed a semester.
If you want to know the value of a month,ask it to a mum who give birth to a pre-mature baby.
The value of a week,seek the answer from the editor of a weekly publish magazine.
If you want to know the value of an hour,question the hourly wage worker who have 6 kids to feed back at home.
To know the value of 1 minute,ask a person who missed a flight.
To know the value of second,ask from a person who just met with an road traffic accident.
To know the value of a millisecond,interview an Olympic gold medalist.I knew the value well.

"So what you suggest could be the right way to spend your time to someone at the same time not wasting your own time".
"It's simple.Don't see it just for time,see it as a help.You can learn the lesson from the donkey and the horse story.You can help someone in any te'rm,but never help someone and take their trouble to your own.Don't put it on your own shoulder just to make them ease.That way you going to make yourself misery.Spending time for someone extremely down,listen to them and give some nice words won't do much harm.Yet there are few people that seek you only when they need help and neglect you or hurt your ego with their rude act when they're fine.Ignore them.Words might lie,action might do the same but pattern never lies.
